Aryan joins CSBC as a high school research intern with a strong interest in behavioural economics, finance, and decision-making. At CSBC, he is working on a qualitative research project exploring privacy, household decision-making, mobility, and financial independence, and has conducted 18 in-depth interviews with participants in Mumbai. His research examines how gender, trust, safety, culture, and access to financial knowledge shape individual choices, and how lived experiences can challenge initial assumptions about autonomy and independence. Aryan is particularly interested in understanding human behaviour and financial literacy, and in finding simple, engaging ways to make complex ideas more accessible to a wider audience. He is also exploring how technology, including chatbots, could extend this work and make financial knowledge more accessible.
